2010 Florida Suicide Prevention Day at the Capitol

Suicide Prevention Day at the Capitol is an annual statewide event to promote education and awareness. Eight years running, this event has come to be recognized as a landmark event in yearly prevention efforts and attracts the attention of multiple organizations and hundreds of participants. Grassroots organizations, state agencies, survivors, students, and community members come from around the state to advocate for suicide prevention related policy. Organizations set up exhibit booths in the Capitol rotunda and a press conference is held to educate about the public health problem of suicide.
